Message from the Chairman
It has been an honor and my pleasure to serve as the Chairman of the James River Soil and Water Conservation District. The past year was most productive in our endeavor to get conservation on the ground. We often hear that "a picture is worth a thousand words". Some of our projects for the year are pictured throughout our 2005-06 Annual Report and on this website. Reading through it will give an idea of some of the many areas of conservation that the District is currently involved with. I would like to thank the staff and the many partners that we have worked with during the year. It is through these supportive associations that we have been able to work together to present many successful educational projects.
The District looks forward to continuing to assist the citizens and landowners of Chesterfield and Prince George Counties with their conservation needs.
